Adrenal-Pro™ fighting back against adrenal fatigue

Adrenal-Pro = contains a pharmaceutical extracted adrenal cortex extract to aid the adrenal glands in their production of their hormones (including aldosterone, DHEA and cortisol). Adrenal-Pro can help to support adrenal efficiency leading to better body responses to stress, fatigue and recovery.

It was back in 1855 when Thomas Addison first described the effects of adrenal insufficiency, which is today known as Addison’s disease, a condition whereby the adrenal glands (which are located on the kidneys) do not produce enough of their hormones such as cortisol and aldosterone.

Addison’s disease is normally first noted as muscle fatigue, becoming easily tired, being unable to cope with stress well, low blood pressure and sometimes even darkening of the skin.

As early as 1920 adrenal cortex extracts were developed to help counter these issues, and such extracts were used without any noted side effects right up until 1975 when synthetic replacements such as cortisone were introduced.

IAS is therefore pleased to be able to reintroduce a pharmaceutical quality adrenal cortex extract under the name of Adrenal-Pro. It is obtained from New Zealand bovine source to help counteract, not only Addison’s disease itself, but also a wide range of maladies that include:

• Inflammation
• Stress/ shock
• Allergies
• Infections
• Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
• Hypotension (low blood pressure)
• Fatigue/ exhaustion

Adrenal-Pro can also help to counteract abnormalities in carbohydrate metabolism, as well as help maintain normal capillary permeability, which in turn helps to increase blood lymphocytes, ergo improving resistance to infections.

Adrenal-Pro has even been shown to be of use to reduce states of shock as well as stress, for example burns or surgery, but perhaps its most common use is to assist in conditions of fatigue. As highlighted in the excellent book on the subject by James L. Wilson, N.D., “adrenal fatigue, the 21st century stress syndrome”, if you feel tired for no apparent reason, have trouble getting up in the morning, need coffee or sodas to keep going during the day or crave sweet or salty foods, then these are typical signs of poor adrenal function.

Adrenal-Pro has an excellent absorption rate and can assist the adrenals to support them to manufacture more cortisol and aldosterone. The suggested maintenance dose is 1-dropper (each containing 15-drops) 2 or 3 times daily, for those with Addison’s disease the dose may need to be increased to 6 to 9 times daily.

Simply place the contents under the tongue and hold there for 15 seconds before being swallowed. There are no known side-effects or contraindications.
