Immune system booster

This product contains Glycoprotein extracted from the Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria and has been shown to increase the levels of white cells in blood. This in turn improves the body's ability to fend off attacks of colds and flu and other similar viruses.

A course of Biostim® is very popular in France as a yearly protection against physical “down time.” Biostim has also been shown to be effective against Candida (yeast infections) and chronic bronchitis and a useful adjunct in the treatment of asthma. Furthermore, Biostim has been shown to be very efficacious when given with certain vaccines and help support the health of cancer patients.

Dosage:
Doses are two tablets, (1mg each) a day for eight days, then a 3-week break, then one tablet a day for eight days, a further 3-week break and finally one tablet a day for eight days (a total of 32 tablets).

The course may be repeated in three months and will normally suffice for one year. However, persons who are accustomed to infection, particularly airborne/ lung infections may want to cycle the above regime throughout the year.

Biostim® may also be taken on an occasional basis, such as at the onset of a cold, flu or airborne infections.

BIOSTIM®

Chemical:
Glycoprotein extracted from Klebsiella pneumoniae. Biostim is a pharmaceutical product to bring about immunostimulant activity. Its results have been especially seen in numerous experimental tests in three areas of defense against infection.

Excipients:
Lactose, Maize Starch, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Magnesium Sterate, Cellulose (Methyl), Di-Butyl-phthalate, Saccarose, Cellulose (Sodium Carbomethyl), Silica pecipitate, Talc, Polysorbate 80, Titanium dioxide, White wax

Phagocytosis:
These activate macrophages and stimulate polymorphous nucleates. This activity has been proven on live animals and on human cells in vitro.

Humor Immunity:
Encourages the maturation of B cells
Stimulates the secretion of immunoglobulin and the IgM-IgG switch effect.
Provides an Immuno adjutant effect
Activities the complement in vitro.

This activity has been demonstrated in both animals and in humans.

Immunity to Cellular Medications:
In vitro, it increases the cytotoxic properties of T-lymphocytes and increases NK activity. - In humans, it restores the reactions of coetaneous hyperactivity arrested in immunodepressed patients. Biostim is the first non-specific immunotherapy of bacteria origin, which can be taken not only by mouth, but also on a daily basis. By reactivating the immune system, Biostim protects against experimental bacteria or viral infections. Either in their intra or extra cellular development. This activity has been proved in both normal and immunodepressed animals. The efficacy of annual Biostim treatment has been shown in controlled experiments and double-checked with placebos. • A reduction of the duration of acute episodes.

Recommendations:
Biostim is recommended for- Adults- Preventative treatment in the processes of relapse and further infections of chronic bronchial ailments.
Children- Preventative treatment of chronic recurring respiratory infections (of at least 2 years duration or following a tonsillectomy).

Directions:
The plan of treatment of three 8 day cycles with three week intervals between each cycle. The dosage is 2 tablets per day during the first cycle, and 1 tablet per day during the second and third cycles.

Take 1 Biostim tablet per day for 8 days (total of 8 tablets) The tablets are to be swallowed whole without chewing them, preferably in the morning and on an empty stomach.

Contraindications:
Biostim is not to be taken in the case of autoimmune illness. - It should not be given to children of less than a year old. - Although embryotoxic or teratogenic effects have not been seen in animal experimentation, it’s use is not recommended during pregnancy.

Warnings:
