Indications: Women’s Health and Balancing Formula. Packaging/Size: 90 Tablets Asparagus Racemosus (Shatavari) is used Traditionally to balance women and women’s conditions including monthly cycles (PMS or Flashes) or change of life conditions. Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) is one of the most widely studied Ayurvedic herbs. Long considered a premier adaptogenic herb, Ashwagandha has clearly demonstrated anti-stress properties. In a study by Singh B, Chandan BK, Gupta DK, Withania somnifera was evaluated for putative antistress activity against a battery of tests to delineate the activity of this fraction. The latter fraction exhibited significant antistress activity in a dose-related manner (Singh et al., 2001). Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) is used traditionally as a general tonic. Ginger (Zingiber Officinalis) is used traditionally as a carminative. REFERENCES - Medicinal Plants, 158-59, S.K. Jain, National Book Trust, New Delhi, 1979.
