Anacervix, through the synergistic action of its components is a complete treatment to augment cerebral vasculatory processes, and is used for treatment of progressive and chronic neuronal insufficiencies as well as learning difficulties, or the degeneration of thinking associated with age or intoxication.

Anacervix may be used in the treatment of cranial trauma, (accidents to the head), etc. Based on the results of a trial conducted in 1996, it can be accepted that the therapeutic effect of vincamine was superior to placebo in patients with mild to moderate dementia of degenerative and vascular etiologies.

The dosage range for Anacervix ranges from 3 to 6 capsules (each capsule contains 400mg of Piracetam and 20mg of Vincamine) per day. 9 AM, 1PM and 5PM are suggested times to take Anacervix, though the last dose may be taken later if evening activity is planned.

Precautions are indicated in cases of cerebral hypertension. As with any cerebral activator, it is not recommended to take the medication in the evening, as it may then cause some problems falling asleep.

ANACERVIX ®

Anacervix is an original medicine of clear therapeutic interest, composed of vincamine (alkaloid extracted from Vinca minor L) and piracetam (2-pyrrolidone-acetamide).

On account of its selective vaso-regulatory action in the encephalic area, vincamine improves the circulation and nutrition of the cerebral parenchyma.

Piracetam is a specific activator of the metabolism of the cerebral cortex, which increases the energetic neuronal reserves, reinforcing the resistance of the brain cells to hypoxia.

Because of the synergism of its components, Anacervix is the complete treatment for vascular cerebral processes accompanying hypoxia, neuronal insufficiency or neurological manifestations that can be attributed to metabolic alterations.

INGREDIENTS:
Each capsule contains: vincamine (INN) 20 mg, piracetam (INN) 400 mg
Excipients:
corn starch, magnesium stearate, talc

INDICATIONS:
Progressive and chronic cerebral insufficiencies
Cerebral insufficiencies as a result of acute vascular accidents and cranial traumatisms
Organic and psychological disorders from cerebral hypoxia
Learning difficulties and behavioural alterations.

DOSAGE:
The usual average dosage is 3 capsules a day. According to the criterion of your doctor, however, this dosage may be increased to 6 capsules a day. They should be preferably taken after the main meals of the day.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Cerebral neo-formation with intracranial hypertension; pregnancy

INCOMPATIBILITIES:
Anacervix may stimulate the action of barbiturates.

ADVERSE EFFECTS:
Anacervix has proved to be perfectly tolerated.
